For those of you who are new to the blog, you may ot understand some of the abbreviations, terms, and names that I use in my blog post. This page is for you, my friend.

VEF – Virginia Evangelism Fellowship – This is the organization that I am officially doing my 10 month internship for.

VV– Virginia Vision – This is the church planting division of VEF.

Tim – Tim Cole is the Director of Church Planting for VEF and my main contact for local churches in Richmond.

Dave – Dave Hileman is the Executive Director of VEF and my official boss.

Chris – Chris Barras is the lead pastor at Area10 Faith Community, where I attend church and help out several hours a week.

The Byrd – This is a historic theatre that now plays cheap movies and allows Area10 to meet in their space on Sunday mornings. It’s pretty much awesome.

Area10 – Area 10 Faith Community, a downtown church committed to “love [Richmond] beyond reason” where I attend Sunday mornings.

Velocity – Tim Cole’s church plant in the Short Pump district of Richmond that I will have some minor involvement with in the future.
